Morning Yoga Routine

Over time I've pieced together different stretching techniques to create my own yoga routine. I've had back problems my entire adult life and I've found that this routine gets all the cracks out!

[times below indicate minutes:seconds to hold the pose, on each side if applicable]

1:30 x 2 - Kneeling Hip Flexor Stretch

1:00 x 2 - Straight-leg Calf Stretch (lean into the wall)

1:00 x 2 - Quad Stretch

1:00 x 2 - One-Legged Pigeon Pose

1:00 - Open-Hip Frog Pose

Your choice - Child’s Pose

1:00 - Plow Pose

1:00 - Seated Long-Leg Forward Bend Pose

Your choice - Seated Spinal Twist Pose

Your choice - Standing Forward Bend with Shoulder Opener

Your choice - Standing Side Opener Pose

Your choice - Standing Forward Bend Pose

Your choice - Standing Backbend Pose

Slowly - Back Foam Roll

Your choice - Corpse Pose

Deep sigh release
